Ian has scored over ten films and received several awards at festivals around the world. In 2025 alone, Night Shift at Ned's received "The Platinum Award" at Global Indie Filmmaker Awards, A La Madre received "Best Animated Short" at ExpoEAAD, and Forces From Beyond received eight separate awards at Buried Alive Film Festival. Ian is currently pursuing a Masters in Film Scoring at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain. He received his B.A. in Jazz Studies from the University of North Carolina.
