Ian has scored horror, comedy, animation, video games, and podcasts. In 2025, he was awarded "Best Animated Short" for his work on A La Madre at ExpoEAAD in Mexico, as well as "Best Horror Short" and the "Platinum Award" for his work on Night Shift at Ned's at Roswell Festival in Missouri and Global Indie Filmmaker Awards in England. In addition to scoring, Ian has toured the US as the keyboardist for the rock ensemble, Frute, recording multiple albums with grammy-nominated producer, TJ Elias (GroupLove, Walk the Moon).  Ian received his bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Carolina, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa Honors as one of the top pianists in the program.
